 A veritable winter wonderland of unclad audio, in well-fed environments, all completely free! Wednesday June the 14th ~ Snap to Swingin' at the Speakeasy for clean threads and fresh fare between 10PM and 1 or 2 in the morn. Thursday June the 15th ~ Head back to Palmer & Co. the very next day to experience The Dovetails live, with myself on either side, from sundown around 6 til 10 in the evening. Friday June the 16th ~ Cop a gobful of flaming flesh at Vivid Fire Kitchen in the Cutaway as World BBQ Champion Sterling Smith mans the coals and I wrangle decks. 6 til 11PM. Saturday June the 17th ~ Jack Off welcomes Jannis Stürtz, founder of legendary reissue label Habibi Funk, who will be spinning Arabic 45s live in the studio ahead of the huge Natures Calling gig with Nabihah Iqbal et al at Manning later that night. Tune in from 3 til 5PM! If that isn't exciting enough I'll then have the huge honour of steering surrounding sounds for the free Vivid finalé featuring Cornelius at Tumbalong Park. If you've never heard this master of music and imagery perform please do not miss this. There's a show for kids from 5 via Tiptop Giants, then I kick off at 6 before Nice Biscuit play their support set from 7.30.
