Parisian residents Leigh Baker (double bass) and Heather Stewart (vocals and violin) arrive on our shores, bringing a gun band to bear for a gratis gig during Swingin' at the Speakeasy this evening.
7 til 10 for the live fare (with interstitial sets from Pia Andersen on the decks) before I bring it on home from 10 til the early, early morn.

Jack Off is as mysterious as the Earth itself. Sometime between 3 and 5 this Saturday arvo you might hear live music from Toby Martin and Amanda Brown emanate from the radiophonie aether. Or not.
On a more solid footing I pledge that later that evening drinkers and diners at Dean and Nancy on 22 will hear an ebullient set of songs from 9 til around half 12. It's free but book to be sure of entry.
Know also that Sham DJs debut public gig will take place on NYE at the same venue, saturated by dazzling fireworks and sublime sounds atop the CBD.
