One last glimpse - after a long, strange year. Wednesday December the 28th ~ I'll start, like clockwork, at Palmer & Co by 10PM tonight, spinning til around 1AM for free. Friday December the 30th ~ By Friday I'll be all dolled-up for Maybe Sammy, playing between 9PM and 12.30AM, gratis. Saturday December the 31st ~ During the many minutes between 3 and 5PM each Saturday I brainstorm emotional solutions to impossible-to-articulate issues via other people's audio out put via Jack Off on FBi Radio. Tune in. Directly afterwards Sham DJs will marshall our collective consciousness, for the first time since the Wellington edition of Semi Permanent, in order to usher in the New Year at the ideal location for this annum, Dean and Nancy on 22. We will kick off early (at 8PM) and run late (til 1AM), working from a beautiful booth in the main space for the first time so that we are really amongst the celebrations. There will also be shows from Sydney's Queen of Burlesque, Porcelain Alice. Thank you so much for your careful and considered attention to these missives this year, it's always a privilege to receive such sophisticated songs and sentiments in reply. Of course the same goes for the myriad of marvellous messages we field via the text line whilst broadcasting, not to mention the tears, smiles and embraces shared during my live sets. As this stunning planet struggles amidst an avoidable onslaught of human-wrought idiocy and woe I'm more committed than ever to a life in service of music, community and spirit. I deeply respect the courage and grace of the good folks holding the line, despite the travails of this time. Let's hope for a miraculous surmounting of our trials, vanquishing the present power of the death-peddlers who cruel it for the rest of life on Earth. It's an all or nothing equation at this point frankly. Right now I wish you restorative rest, the love of friends and family, natural beauty and peace. Comments are closed.
