 Musical machinations to bridge the battles between factions: grand gigs and radical radio action. Wednesday June the 12th ~ The Faculties perform between 7 and 10PM tonight at Swingin' at the Speakeasy then I spin til close around 3AM. Farewell the final nights of the Vivid Festival in the heart of the CBD for free. Friday June the 14th ~ Do not despair. I will soon return from playing a private party (at an iconic architectural wonder, on the border of National Park bush down south). Saturday June the 15th ~ Jack Off is aiming up during the final weekend of the Sydney Film Festival, with extant invites to key luminaries. We expect to welcome both the subject and director of The Chills - The Triumph & Tragedy of Martin Phillipps, whilst additionally hoping to hear from Shirley Barrett (director of my key personal cinematic inspiration, Love Serenade) plus recently-renewed Festival Director Nashen Moodley. Tune in from 3 til 5PM for insights akimbo. Sunday June the 16th ~ Come Sunday I hope to lure a few square-eyed Sydneysiders away from their screens for an afternoon atop the impeccable Imperial Hotel.
