From the stunning Liopetro venue, down the way from the birthplace of Aphrodite, near Paphos in Cyprus, to the towering Greek restaurant Beta Bar in central Sydney, to tiny Tiona on a narrow spit of land (between the ocean and a lake) on the Mid North Coast of NSW - all in the space of one month in late 2019!
Spanning the land between Kangaroo Valley and the Hunter Valley, the Blue Mountains and the Southern Highlands; from Merribee in the Shoalhaven, to Mona Farm in Braidwood, back to Cupitt's Winery in Mollymook - thence to Bangalow Guesthouse, Midginbil Hill, or Harvest restaurant in Northern New South Wales. Beside Sydney Harbour at the Bathers' Pavillion on Balgowlah Beach, Athol Hall below Taronga Zoo, or Aqua Dining by Luna Park.
Sometimes at the Sydney Dance Company in The Rocks, occasionally within our beautiful Botanic Gardens, even at Giant Dwarf (the old Performance Space) in Redfern. Perhaps at Dunbar House in Watsons Bay, or Doltone House on Pyrmont Wharf. Seaside at Wylie's Baths in Coogee, Manly's Q Station, Long Reef Golf Club, Narrabeen Surf Club and The Boathouse at Palm Beach.
From the parks and historic houses of Elizabeth Bay, to Chiswick at the Art Gallery of NSW or the balconies of the Museum of Contemporary Art. On campus at Kirkbride Terrace in the Sydney College of Art at Rozelle, or the National Art School's Cell Block Theatre in Darlinghurst. Also up above, on rooftops, from Marrickville to Kings Cross, to the Ivy Penthouse in the CBD. Not to mention playing for Josephine Perry (and genius chef Mike Clift) for their wedding at her father Neil's iconic Rockpool. From the ceremony, to dinner and dancing, the entire trajectory of the occasion is sensitively met.
Jack brings whimsy and no pretentiousness. He makes any gathering joyful.
