Revealing and relentless audio-visual overkill. Wednesday April the 10th ~ The full-scale fiasco pops off from tonight as London's Donovan Bar is teletransported to Sydney's Dean and Nancy on 22 for a guest shift as part of this year's Maybe Festival. Join us for sophisticated sips and songs between 7 and 10pm. Thence I'll fly down to my regular mid-week haunt of Palmer & Co - playing through til around 1.30am, whereupon I'll reconvene with all the reprobates of the cocktail world at The Caterpillar Club. Thursday April the 11th ~ After barely enough time to sleep anything off it's back to Dean and Nancy on 22 for a Maybe Festival double-header, with two more of the world's great hotel bars - Hong Kong's Argo and Singapore's Origin - pouring their astronomical creations for all lucky attendees. I'll stir sounds in from 5 til 10. Friday April the 12th ~ There will be no returning to Earth as on Friday we head up to the Oxford House Pool Bar to experience guest service from NYC's legendary Greenwich Village cafe and bar Dante. Brave the waves and swim up for a sublime sample between six and half-nine. Saturday April the 13th ~ As the compounding conniptions continue I hope that Jack Off will somehow be healing when broadcast betwixt 3 and 5pm on FBi Radio. Directly afterwards I'll be dragging my sorry arse up to the Newtown Dendy to introduce the willfully-cringey wannabe-influencer comedy Drugstore June, screening at 6.30 as part the Inner West Film Fest. Thereafter, as the full Maybe Fest circus moves on to myriad other venues, it's back to Dean and Nancy on 22 for the third time. Thankfully on any given day (they are open 7 now) they have strong coffee and phenomenal food. I will avail myself of both while spinning tunes from 9pm til 12.30am for free. Comments are closed.
