Unfortunately a title that I was saving for application to offshore immigration hells snuck in to the email edition of this newsletter last week, when the content was merely my fortunate fate in roaming around Australia visiting friends and family. Thus I'm explicitly flagging only local larks from that same journey this week, which has been tragic (but beautiful) for other reasons. Every escapist event below will be free - and hopefully uplifting and uniting for people of all persuasions.

After yet another astonishing exchange with Darren Hanlon last Saturday, this weekend's Jack Off finally sees fruition of a longstanding aim to air the virtuosic violin stylings of the Australian Chamber Orchestra's Richard Tognetti.

I can barely believe that Richard has agreed to play a few minutes of one of my favourite pieces (Fratres), by my favourite composer (Arvo Pärt).

There is so much I wish to discuss with Richard but I'm honestly not sure how I will be able to form words after hearing that. Tune in to Free Broadcast Incorporated for silence and serendipity: 3 til 5
